The 2011 Faith Family Conference was themed “The Gender Puzzle: Putting Together the Pieces of Complementarianism.” Children’s Minister David C. Woodard (McFerrin Baptist Church) and Pastor Matthew S. Rickett (Faith) taught a series of 5 lessons on the doctrine of complementariansim.
The doctrine of complementarianism is briefly defined as the belief that men and women were created equal (in terms of worth), but with distinct and “complementary” roles. This is the position of Faith Church.
